VantageScore
:VantageScore is a credit scoring model which lenders use to determine how likely a consumer is to repay a loan. It was created in 2006 by a joint venture between the three major credit bureaus, Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion using data from each to calculate the score. VantageScore uses similar scoring methods to FICO, but with some differences. VantageScore only requires one month of credit history and one credit account reported in the last two years, while FICO requires at least six months of credit history.
